Time to crimp it all together! With the Fordlördag, 29 juni, 2019
Time to crimp it all together! With the Ford plug all the wire colors match correctly, and the heating wires have no polarity so it does not matter how you connect those. White to white, black to black, and gray to gray. I used vise grips to crimp them and standard butt connectors like I listed above, but if you’re baller status and care about the car you’re working on, use the heat shrink connectors and a wire crimp tool.11 months ago
Assembly While the cam locks are somewhat avoidable in the import cabinets, there are a few that offer a true dado assembly and require glues and fasteners that are nailed or screwed on. Some even use pocket screws to hold the cabinet together. While this seems like bfakn.club a minor point, it’s actually huge. Over time, as wood expands and contracts and cabinet contents shift, inferior construction will almost always lead to separation of cabinet panels, cabinets peeling from the wall and other shocking developments. There is one American Made RTA cabinet (made by Conestoga Wood Specialties) that even offers a really unique sliding dovetail technology where the wood panels (top/bottom and sides) dovetail together so that the cabinet literally cannot fall apart once assembled.
But I was in their face and calling them ”pigs”, because they were. A broken nose and red knuckles proved I fought back. So my arrests,,,, were a badge of honor, and I taunted them to keep me longer and get me a lawyer!! I sure as hell never claimed innocence as a defense, I claimed power to the people.
If the engine is a V8 or V6 and only one side or bank is reporting a fault code it could be a leaking intake manifold gasket or leaking manifold. If you have logged both codes, however, it is unlikely that a leaking manifold would be the issue since both manifolds would have to be leaking.
For me, it was in reverse. I had a souped up BMW, manual, special color, very tastefully modded, just they way I wanted it, dream car. I was gonna hold out for another couple of years, being that the BMW was the last manual 3 Series brought to the US (an F30), and I only driven manuals, by choice, my whole life (sidebar: I had an Honda Accord, manual, 220k miles that I sold before getting the Bimmer).
The video below goes some way to show just how fast this car is around corners too. Almost a full 5 SECONDS faster than the Koenigsegg CCX (although Top Gear keeps refusing to put it round themselves). Definitely worth watching just to hear the noise and witness the best kit car in the world doing its thing.
So is that worth it to you? There no right answer to that; it fine if that is worth it to you. But that how you have to look at it. Saying this would be more reliable than my Ranger (which you not doing) is just denialism. It not real. You could rebuild the damn Ranger from scratch for less than what you lose on the BMW. If you do it I would suggest paying it off as quickly as possible. Definitely do pursue the credit union route and try to get a better rate, possibly with a shorter term.
1 is honestly going to be a tough one. There were comments on the LA Times article to the effect of ”he wasn winning prize money, so why does anyone care?” People who don competitively do amateur endurance sports really have no idea how much it does matter to those of us who do them.
It typically not well recieved in this sub, but I fully support your notion of spending extra on a car. I earn a similar wage in the midwest, and driving my dream car for three years was absolutely worth it. I drive a lot, so I wanted something I enjoy a lot!
The BMW Concept 8 Series is a two door coup, bigger, wider, lower. ”Our aim was to make it sportier than ever before, more dynamic,” says van Hooydonk,”hence the new ’fast back’ roof profile. That sets it apart from our heritage cars. Always we think of what the brand needs tomorrow. Innovation comes from art, industrial design, travelling, talking to people. Our history is rich, and we are always trying to make it richer.”
They would never get away with it, the area is too built up. I see you are in Canada and I know how quiet some parts of it are, especially compared to England, I used to work for a Canadian specialist tour operator and they taught us that the whole of England can fit into the biggest lakes.
This part is a no brainer. You find a car, you buy a car, then you drive it away. That should be easy, right? Well, not exactly. But before we get into the red tape jungle that stands between you and the road, you’ll need to know where to look for your dream machine. Apart from the obvious dealership auctions, it is worthwhile checking out the online portals. The largest online car portals are listed at the bottom of this article. But for the best bargain, the brave go to eBay’s German car auctions. Believe it or not, eBay in Germany is the second largest in the world and it has an impressive car section for those willing to take a chance on the auctions. My BMW was bought on auction there and I got it at a bargain price. Mind you, all of my German friends shake their heads in disbelief when I tell them where I bought my car. So the question you need to ask yourself is:
Despite being a technology that could scale decades ago, car makers have kept them relatively gimped and failed to promote them when full EVs were still very expensive due to the cost per kWh and now that the gap has been closed, their relevancy is reduced to either very low priced econoboxes or very large and heavy vehicles.
My financial situation is not that different from yours, although I have a lot more rental property, much more savings (more than half a decade of frugal living expenses), and a slightly lower income in most years (single, no kids). Was it a financially good decision? Resoundingly no. But it was an investment in the future, not just my personal one, but also ours and a personal statement.
There was only time to discover that my taxi driver was called Philip, that his full time job was as a BMW development engineer and that he had been around the Nordschleife ”more than 3,000 times” and then he was waving his access pass at the control barrier and we were embarking on our first lap under gut wrenching acceleration.
I purchased a new X5 It was great for the first year then the oil leaks started ruined my garage floor. Local dealer was not able to fix the leak. I had to add like a quart every two weeks. They told me and I quote BMWs leak. Heater blower died in middle of winter on ski trip. I purchased the X5 thinking it would be more dependable then the Range Rover I traded in for the BMW. I now own a JEEP Grand Cherokee and I am very happy with it. Very comfortable and reliable. Now when I see a Bimmer or RR I think back to all the tow and garage bills and the big oil stain and I appreciate my JEEP even more.6 months ago
13) Bernie Sanders. Wide candidate debates pretty much exposed Bernie as, well, outdated. He couldn keep up, fought with the moderators, evaded questions, and defaulted to his grumpy grandpa stump speech. His ideas aren special anymore now that everyone has taken them. He all finger pointing and criticism and relishing on the past and overselling past accomplishments. I want solutions and path to solutions, not empty vague promises. ”I had that idea first” is not an acceptable platform and it far less preferable to the current candidates who have taken his ideas and actually made them reasonable and actionable. It evident his success in 2016 was more from being not Hillary than from his own strengths.
”stomping on a mans head with his boots as hard as he could” (bolding added). In addition, you have now indicated that there was more than one stomp; seems to me that multiple ”full force” stomps will almost certainly break a neck. Not necessarily so with and easy kick or even a hard one, but ”full force” multiple kicks? Do you retract the bolded part or do you offer your tests taken to substantiate the claim as true?
Meanwhile BMW has that plastic aluminum everywhere and the black plastic everything. I’d bet it’s the most plastic of the 4 brands. But don’t take my word for it. The CEO is on the verge of being fired for low profits and the answer has been lower overhead and cut motorsports.
2) Elizabeth Warren. She Batman if Harris is Superman. She brilliant and nuanced and could eloquently make her point in a wise educator kind of way but also toggle passion and came off very charming as well. Also lots of detailed solution proposals across a wide variety of topics and none of them anchor positions.
Downhill All the WayIn the second year around 120,000 Pacers were sold but the cracks were beginning to show. The engine was slow and unresponsive, the car taking over 14 seconds to get to 60mph, and it only clocked around 16mpg, less if you used the air conditioning, which you did because of all that glass. It was hard to park because of the width and weight, and mechanical faults were beginning to show through. The electrics were proving unreliable and there were reports of the steering seizing and failing due to the extra weight and strain imposed on the steering rack by the heavy engine.
The new officer is trained to take command and expects immediate obedience from a citizen, and a citizen has no rights at all during the situation. That’s what we saw in the Boston neighborhood as cops were searching for the Marathon bomber. People were ordered out of their homes by yelling and shoving officers, with no regard at all for their rights as American citizens. That would not have happened a few decades ago. I don’t think it should be happening today.
So my question is, how hard is it to replace a NOx sensor or worst case scenario a transfercase on a F30 328D? Will doing the alphabet delete make the car more in the long run?Just note that a lot of the items people are staying need replacing early in ownership aren unique to diesels. The transfer case, for one, is a weak point on all F30s. I wouldn get an AWD 3 series because of it and they did sell plenty of RWD 328d F30s.
In 1984, Toyota brought out the surprising MR 2, which was very different from the practical and uninteresting family sedans that made the manufacturer successful. The first generation (1984 1989) was extremely lightweight and featured, like all generations to follow, an MR (mid engine rear wheel drive) layout more commonly found on supercars such as the Ferrari F355 and Lamborghini Countach. The combination of lightweight chassis and perfect front rear weight distribution via the mid engine layout resulted in a car that handled like a champ and didn’t need a huge engine to provide sufficient performance. The 1.6 L inline 4 only produced 112 hp but could hit 60 mph in just over eight seconds.
I was driving on a country road at 2 ocklock in the morning, and just as I am turning onto the highway, this car comes flying up behind me, with no headlights, no nothing. Buddy you didn’t pull me over, I pulled over and you pulled in behind me. I’m not blind. I was trying to get out of your way, I thought you were going to smash into my car, and I pulled over.
I would be concerned about keeping a nicer car safe being that your beater already got broken in to. I am a sucker for toys of the four wheeled variety, but maybe it would be better to just buy reliable transportation in cash right now and allocate your income to getting your down payment put together to get in to a house (assuming you’re going to continue to live in the area for a while)Car guy here. A civic is nearly as fast (if you not a car person you won notice the acceleration difference), handles better, and has way more luxury features than a 328i. The only two things the 328i has on a Civic is better ride quality and less road noise. If you actually looking for a car that is fun to drive, you can do much, much better for way less money. But seriously, another note on features, the BMW 3 series fully loaded has a serious lack of luxury features compared to all economy brands: Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia all have more and better features than 3 series BMWs.
Watch movement is the mechanism that measures the passage of time and, in some models, also displays the current date. Movements may be entirely mechanical, electronic, or a blend of the two. Most watches today have automatic movements, which means the motion of the wrist and body cause the rotor (a metal weight attached to a winding mechanism) to pivot.
That fame for reliability has made BMW motorcycles the default choice of the hard riding tourist for decades; and now celebrated models from the ”airhead” era as pre 1995 machines with twin cylinder, air cooled engines are known are steadily rising in value as a growing number of enthusiasts come to appreciate their combination of classic looks, superb engineering and continued suitability for long distance riding.

Once you confident in the car you want, pay $10 $20 for an ”AllData DIY” account or another similar technical spec resource and you can see everything about that car from how to rewire the stereo to rebuilding the engine. As others have mentioned the only people who succeed in owning older luxury German cars are those who are mechanically inclined. Do you wana lay $2000 2500 for a full brake job from a dealer or buy parts from a third party and do it yourself for $400 all in?
Dealership 1 I was on vacation one week and decided to make the two hour drive to test drive a Mini. I arrived at the dealership and felt like I was more of a pain since I wasn’t buying at that time. I was given a short test drive and was sent on my way. That thoroughly discouraged me and I stopped looking for awhile.
Is that an extra Rainier or the one in YOUR SUV? If it’s in your SUV and you are happy with it there, just leave it be. My DS (dear son) was 46″/46 on his 5th birthday, and I harnessed him in a Frontier till 6.7 yo (49″, 55). Then I moved him into a Diono Monterey.
